The Trustees and Headteacher seek to appoint an outstanding, highly committed early years practitioner to join this thriving, well established school, to build on existing success and high standards and further develop practice.

Assistant Caretaker 


Grade B (SCP 7 – 9 £16,495 - £16,755) pro rata 
15 hours per week
52 weeks – all year round
Permanent Contract 

The Trustees and Headteacher wish to appoint a reliable and well organised Assistant Caretaker with excellent DIY skills to support the effective and efficient running of a busy Academy. The role will include minor repairs, maintenance, cleaning and routine opening and securing of the school buildings and grounds. 

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the site and grounds are maintained at all times in a safe, clean and orderly state for pupils, staff and visitors and other users of the site and cleaning designated areas. The ability to work in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines is essential. 

The post holder must be flexible in order to provide cover in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
