Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Children with particular learning difficulties or other special dietary or medical needs can benefit from specialist help. This may be because they experience particular learning difficulties, because they show exceptional ability or would benefit from additional specialist advice. This may take the form of individual or small group work as appropriate.

For a very small proportion of children the school may need to involve other specialists in a formal assessment of special educational needs. In such circumstances there is always prior consultation with parents, who are involved in all assessment procedures.

Please see our SEN Policy for more information on how we support pupils with educational needs. This is our current SEN Local Offer.

For any further information, please ask to speak to our SENCO's, Mrs Fucile or Miss Robinson, or the Head Teacher, Mrs Belshaw.
