Extended Services and Study Support
The school offers a range of extended services and study support activities beyond the school day. These provide support to parents and give the children opportunities to acquire new skills, keep healthy, build on what is learned during the school day, or simply have fun and relax.
We offer Breakfast Club provision to children attending Barnes Infant School during term time only. The Breakfast Club is designed to allow children to be in school from 8.00am onwards to have the opportunity to have a choice of food and drink for a healthy start to the day, and to join in activities on offer.
Children are encouraged to be independent at these times and to make decisions for themselves through the choice of food and drink and to participate in informal activities with each other developing social and interactive skills.
Advance booking for all breakfast club sessions is essential. The breakfast club daily fee is currently £3.00 and will increase to £4.00 in September 2017.
After School Club
We also offer After School Provision to children attending Barnes Infant Academy.
The After School Club takes place on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening. The session runs from 3.30pm until 5.30pm. The cost for each session is £6.00 and will increase to £7.00 in September 2017. Payments must be made before the session begins.
A variety of other extra curricular clubs such as Football, Singing, Violin and Ukulele are available at lunch times or after school for pupils.
